A botanical skincare line repositioned from farmers’ market to department store, without losing the dirt under its nails.

(Challenge)

A market-stall skincare brand had outgrown its hand-stamped labels, and two national retailers wanted in. The packaging had to survive a shelf without losing the feeling of a person behind it.

(Approach)

We kept the stamp and rebuilt everything around it: a serif wordmark cut from the founder’s handwriting, a five-colour system keyed to ingredients, and cartons that open like seed packets.

(Outcome)

Both retailers listed the full range. Wholesale enquiries tripled in the first quarter, and the stamp is still inked by hand.
